During a recent Celtic Dragon Superleague match the Rhondda Netball Seniors had the opportunity to meet and greet some of the Superleague's most renown superstars including George Fisher, Tamsin Greenway and Natalie Hathornthwaite!!
"So many of our youngsters aspire to play in the Vitality Superleague in their futures, so for the girls it was incredible to see how down to earth and friendly the players are and how much they've achieved and accomplished in such a small space of time!" Jody, Operations Manager said. "It really meant the world to the girls that the Wasps squad took the time to have a chat and a few selfies with them.... and better still, they actually knew who Rhondda Netball were!! Now THAT'S awesome! Although, I don't know who was more excited to meet the team, the youngsters or Chelsea, our Head Coach!
Wasps Netball are making waves in the UK as a franchise and just like Rhondda Netball, have come so far in their short history.
